The playground/picnic area, basketball court, swimming pool and volleyball are available. Rules for use of the swimming pool are posted. We are working on completing maintenance and upgrades to the pool, pool house and playground as funds are available.
 
 
 
Pleasant View Homeowners Association Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
 
*The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members of the Pleasant View Homeowners
Association and their guests. This assures the safe and sanitary operation of the pool. Anyone choosing to not follow pool
rules and regulations may be asked to leave the pool immediately.
*Pool Hours - The men’s and women’s doors are set on a timer that will unlock each day at 7:00 am and will remain
unlocked until 9:30 pm. You then will access the door by using your proximity pool access card.
 
* Normal hours: 8:00 am- 9:30 pm daily (No night swimming allowed).
+ RESTRICTED HOURS (Adults only: (7:00 am- 8:00 am).
* Pool will be closed during electrical storms or operational problems
* Pool is not to be used unless officially opened.
* Board of directors, management company and pool company can close pool.
* Lost proximity pool cards can be replaced for $5 by contacting the management company. Temporary codes are
available until card is received.
 
POOL SAFETY AND ENFORCEMENT OF RULES ~ NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY ~ SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
 
* There is no lifeguard on duty. All swimmers do so at their own risk. The association and the management company
will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries arising out of the use of the pool by a member or guest or for loss
or damage to personal property of any kind.
* Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the pool without the continued supervision of an Adult.
Adult shall be defined for the purpose of these rules as someone age 18 or over, or a family member or paid
sitter over the age of 16. No guests or tagalongs will be allowed with those 16 -18 supervising those under 14.
Identification and/or proof of age will be required.
* One adult for every 5 children under the age of 14 shall be required continuous supervision.
* The following are prohibited in the pool area: diving, running, pushing, shoving or throwing people in the pool, unwanted
splashing, tag games, spitting, chewing gum, swearing or profanity. No disruptive manners will be tolerated!
* Floats will be permitted if there is no metal on them and they do not crowd the pool.
*Arm floatation devices for younger children will be allowed in the big pool with adult supervision. The board of directors
and the pool committee members reserve the right to prohibit any such items as necessary for the common good. No
boats, kayaks or boogie boards are allowed in the pool area.
* The board of directors and the pool committee are authorized to interpret and enforce all rules regarding pool
usage. This authority includes the expulsion of individuals from the pool area if they do not obey the rules.
* Pool chemicals in concentrated form are poisonous; therefore, no one is permitted in the pool equipment room.
 
Swimming Pool - Health
 
* Shower before entering the pool.
* All persons, especially children are requested to use the toilet facilities before entering the pool.
* Persons with skin eruptions, open sores, bandages, etc. are not permitted to use the pool.
* No smoking, eating or drinking allowed within 3 feet of the pool's edge.
* Absolutely no glass containers permitted at the pool.
* All cigarette butts, food, candy wrappers, paper goods, etc. must be placed in trash receptacles. Please take
responsibility for cleaning up any debris upon your departure.
* No pets allowed in clubhouse or pool area.
* No cut off pants, tennis shorts or bermuda shorts allowed in the pool. Please wear proper bathing suit attire.
